Fruitgarden Publishing was started in 1995. At that time the business of publishing books was very different. Like many new authors I sent out queries to many established publishing houses. Even though several said they enjoyed what I wrote, they were not willing to publish me. So one day I just decided to do it myself. 

Now, with on demand printing and internet marketing it is a completely different landscape. If you have a computer and have something to say, you can publish a book!

The company name is an homage to the main character in my young adults series, The Adventures of Harry Fruitgarden. 

It has been my good fortune to be a lifelong student of the spiritual life, and it is my service and joy to share with you some of the fruits of that journey in the hopes that it will bring a smile to your heart and give you a few tips to help you along your way.
