10 keys to Personal and Professional Excellence.

by Lawrence Vijay Girard

Here are ten ways to focus one’s efforts to create a life that is both professionally and personally fulfilling:

1. The foundation for success in life is truthfulness. Be truthful to your self and be truthful to others: who are your larger self. Let all of your actions be guided by the ancient truth: Yato Dharma Tato Jaya – Where there is adherence to right action in thought and deed, there will be victory.

2. Life is one integrated whole. The choices that we make in any given area of life will affect all other areas of our life. Make conscious choices that lead to beneficial results for all involved.

3. The ability to access energy, focus that energy on your goals and persevere until the goal is accomplished, is essential for success.

4. The solution to every challenge in life is available through attunement to the Positive Flow of life.

5. If you want to be a good leader, lead yourself first. Practice what you preach. Let your approach to guiding others be: People are more important than things.

6. Redirect negative energies in a positive direction through inspirations drawn from the positive flow.

7. Look at the totality of your lifestyle and adjust it as necessary to create personal balance. It is in the best interest of everyone that it is a part of your life – including yourself – to live in a way that promotes inner and outer health.

8. Be a giver. Be a giver in life. Those who are givers by nature or develop it through practice live happier lives.

9. Spend time with people who are good at what you want to do. They will inspire you and their positive magnetism will rub off on you.

  1. The greatest accomplishment in life is not an outward goal, but the inward goal of attuning ourselves to Life’s greatest truth: the universal love, joy and wisdom that is our highest potential.
